Object As Relic expands on the land-based inquiries by turning attention toward stones. Working with photographs gathered from visits to sacred sites, the images are translated into objects that evoke a process of restoration—artifacts carrying the remembrance of place and the imprint of time.

At the core of this work is the possibility that stones hold the memory of the land, and that through relationship with these places, something dormant—within both the landscape and ourselves—can be awakened.
